Miss Lulu's White's Red Hot Creole Jazzband plays collective
improvisations with short solo's and breaks which form the starting point
for their music.
Their strong frontline, consisting of two cornets, is intended to make
the tension in collective improvisation as intense as possible.
For this reason the orchestra also like to enhance its performances by
introducing guests players who have already given proof of their affinity
with the black musical tradition of New Orleans.
Guest players include Claus Jacobi on altosax, Roland Pils and Herbert
Christ on cornet (all from Germany), Bent Persson on cornet (Sweden),
Michel Bastide on cornet and Marc Richard on clarinet (France) and Keith
Nichols and Ray Smith on piano (Great Britain); players who undoubtly
will be ranked by connaisseurs among Europe's top Jazz musicians.
